I love ice cream. One of my best memories from childhood is waiting for the ice cream truck. I always got the same thing, a vanilla ice cream cone with red sprinkles. When the man in the window handed me the colorful confection, I always felt a jolt of excitement. (I admit that the extra sugar probably also added to my excited state).
When I first saw the Golden Leopard Discus, Light Base, I suddenly felt a surge of warmth and happiness. I was confused and wondered why I felt this way, until I realized that this fish has a lovely giant round body that is the same coloring as the beloved golden ice cream cone with red sprinkles from my youth.
This discus looks like a party waiting to happen, with rosy stripes and splashes of yellow that are the color of ice cream and balloons at kids’ birthday parties. What is that song that the ice cream truck used to play? Oh, yeah, Turkey in the Straw. Cue the music.

I have received the fish but the fish tank is broken, there is 1 fish with a broken bag and the water overflows I am following as instructed and waiting until tomorrow if there is any problem I will message you.
Michael himself does reply quickly at times, shipping is on point, and fish arrive healthy and eating right away. Overall I’d by fish from him again.
Good morning, Thank you for checking in on the fish. They did arrive alive! They survived the night and appear to be eating this morning. Unfortunately, I did need to put them in the same tank as my other fish as they both looked dead when they arrived. They weren’t moving and appeared to have a very slow labored breathing pattern. The discus appear to be doing well. I'm a little concerned about the golden pearl, one of the gills are staying open. I haven't noticed the gill moving much at all, but the fish has been actively swimming around the tank so far. The gold nugget pleco and both german reds are absolutely beautiful. I understand there are variants in colors and patterns in these fish but I am admittedly slightly disappointed in the golden leopard. The fish I received is a solid peach color and in my opinion doesn't represent what I purchased. I also didn't receive the free gift that was mentioned in an email on October 11th, and the fish weren't packed with stress coat per the acclimation instructions on your website. From Michael: I've been running low on stress coat (which was the free gift) due to an extreme influx of orders. Sorry about that. You ordered small 3" fish, and based on your photos, they appear to be correct baby-version matches of the adults you see pictured on my website.
Thank you for asking my fish I received from you and their fishy friends are all doing wonderful. I’m really hoping they will pair off. I am thinking that very soon I will be purchasing an established breeding pair or two from you. Here is a picture of everyone in my 125 gallon set-up.
This guy might have a fin rot. I'll put him in a separate tank in few. From Michael: Ammonia burns from transit, not rot. An interesting note: Chris's son is a motivated and ambitious high school student. Chris very politely arranged to have his son call me for elite college admissions advice.
