Wild Nhamunda Red Heckel Discus

The “red” variation of the classic Nhamunda Heckel offers a variation for collectors that is not blue-based. Instead of blue appearing throughout the body and face, a subtle shade of red is present instead. There is debate amongst collectors whether this fish falls within the same strain as the Nhamunda blue, or if it should be classified as an entirely separate strain.
