Blue Tiger Carnation Turquoise Discus
$40.00 – $182.00
Perhaps my wife and I are working too hard to get ready for Christmas with our kids, who are flying in from Seattle, WA and Santa Catalina island—which is “23 miles across the sea” (Google that phrase and listen to a good old song from the 60s!) from Long Beach, CA. Are you going somewhere special for Christmas? Would this discus brighten up your festive holiday mood?
I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for fish. As a kid in Maryland, one of my favorite memories is walking around a local aquarium store to marvel at the colors and movement all around me. The tiny black fish with single neon stripes, the ones that looked like giant, underwater butterflies, and the eels that weaved faster than a Porche on the freeway.
This Blue Tiger Carnation Turquoise Discus is patterned like a dark coral maze across the clear blue waters of Aruba. An icy, diamond blue, its lines form caverns and corners, sweeping softly like dancing hairs along a tiger’s back in the deepest shades of sunset orange. It’s middle center sometimes resembles a floral shape, or dancing speckles pointing out to the water surrounding it. Let your eyes linger on its designs, and perhaps like a good MagicEye picture it’ll morph into something even more beautiful… if that’s even possible!

I am happy with the fish you sent, the colors and patterns are to my liking. I appreciate you taking the time to make sure things are good and to make sure I like what was sent.
I will send you pics once they become comfortable in their new surroundings. I have them in a 150 gallon tank.
These are my first collection of Discuss.

Hello,
I recently had my first couple pair off out of the group of discus I purchased from you. So far they've had 2 spawns with 100+ eggs but ate them all both times. They were in the community tank. I've moved them into a 40 gallon breeder tank and plan to put a barrier around the eggs so they can't eat them next time. I know the male is the blue knight, but is the female a German red turquoise or a tiger blue/red?

Returning customer and look forward to the adult version of all the discus I got. Wonderful shipping, quality and service from the site. No regrets.
They came alive!!!! Update coming soon thank you!!
Hey just got my fish. Seem to be doing well, definitely stressed out. How long until you think the black bars go away on them. And I appreciate the good packing and delivery
Did you receive the other pics I sent? Also one of my fish has two white spots on the side when I got it. I didn’t say anything because I remembered reading that that can happen during shipping. But the spots are gone now. I can tell that u feed those by hand sometimes. Just how they respond. The other fish I got from you they don’t do it as much. Probably because they were younger. But the new fish they all eat from my hand when I feed them . It feels funny to have numerous fish nibbling from your hand at the same time :-)
My order number was 10xxx. Just wanted to let you know my order arrived at noon today and wanted to show you the condition it was in. The bottom of the box was soaking wet when UPS driver handed me the box. The bottom of the foam chest was broken and full of water. The Golden Lollipop’s bag was almost completely out of water. I immediately emptied the bags into a bucket for acclimating. The Golden Lollipop was just lying flat on the bottom of the bucket- everyone else was swimming around. After acclimating was completed I transferred them to the tank. Everyone is swimming around except the Golden Lollipop- it is just sitting on the bottom of the tank. Hopefully it will recover but looks like being almost out of water in the bag might take its toll. I'm a little disappointed in the Golden Pearl Pigeon Snakeskin- it was supposed to be 3 1/2-4" while the rest were all 3- 3 1/2". It is by far the smallest fish I got and I don't think it is even 3". Thank you Bill From Michael: Bill, I'm sorry about the mishap with UPS, but I'm glad all of your fish are alive. We have no control over UPS once the fish leave our hands. You're holding a ruler to the side of the tank. We measure our fish out of water from tip of nose to end of tail.
The fish came in yesterday, and as always you picked beauties! They seem happy and healthy. I only wish my tank were bigger so that I could have more. Thanks as always.
Hi Michael, sorry it took some time, it's been busy. The Discus are doing great, they are all 9 eating now and all rise to the hand when offered some beefheart, bloodworms or brine shrimp. They are greedy 4 times a day and other than that acting like teenagers.
3 are in my display tank. One is doing great. And these two stay hidden and are barely eating. From Michael: Make sure your water parameters are...More
Michael, first picture is the fish I’ve been concerned about the most, still won’t eat not interested in even looking at food the second picture is one that has quit eating in the last couple of days but his color is still good and he seems disoriented at times. The last two pictures are a couple of the other seven that are absolutely ravenous in the morning and they’re eating very very well. I did a 50% water change yesterday with water that’s been sitting for over a week and that seem to help a bit so we’ll see I guess.
Beautiful stock. They look great in my 150 tank. Your delivery was perfect on a -5F day. Because of temp could have used an extra hot pack. Other than that my acclimating experience worked well along with your suggestions.
Hi, yes they arrived fine and healthy. They are more beautiful than I expected. Thank you so much for picking exactly the fish I would have chosen had I picked them out by hand myself..... here are some pictures as they adjust to my set up. I will send better ones in a few days. Also I would like to give a review on you’re website. Thanks.
Thank you, the fish arrived pretty healthy.
