Some have inquired about the different between the Albino Platinum and Albino Blue Diamond strains. Albino Platinum discus may have pink iridescence on the dorsal and ventral fin, as opposed to very light blue shades typically found in Albino Blue Diamonds. The body color of Albino Platinums may have slight shades of yellow compared to slight shades of blue in Albino Blue Diamonds. Furthermore, Albino Platinums have very prominent red eyes when compared to Albino Blue Diamonds. These general rules are not meant to be hard and fast differentiators.
