A recent rewatch of the creepy iconic movie The Number 23 had me thinking about this hypnotic spotted guy. This Classic Leopard Discus is intricately patterned with scarlet red markings, glossy cyan swirls, and a subtle shadow striking over its amber eyes. I’m just as captivated watching him flitting around his biotope as I was watching Jim Carrey locked in his hotel room, desperately trying to understand the hundreds of 23’s marked across his body. Soft around the edges with a silky fade that melts into the water, this guy is just the visual relief I needed when the suspense became overwhelming.
Although you’re not likely to find a skeleton in his backyard, the Classic Leopard Discus is just as fascinating to watch as he bustles around the tank. His bright colors and striking pattern are sure to make him the most eye-catching fish in the group.

Michael, first picture is the fish I’ve been concerned about the most, still won’t eat not interested in even looking at food the second picture is one that has quit eating in the last couple of days but his color is still good and he seems disoriented at times. The last two pictures are a couple of the other seven that are absolutely ravenous in the morning and they’re eating very very well. I did a 50% water change yesterday with water that’s been sitting for over a week and that seem to help a bit so we’ll see I guess.
