General Antibiotic Cure is a blend of pure erythromycin and pure doxycycline hyclate.  No fillers to interfere with treatment.  This combination has shown to be more effective than using each drug on its own. Common behavioral changes that indicate a bacterial infection include clamped fins, swollen eyes, gills held open, pumping gills and gulping through mouth, patchy coloration, change in swimming behavior, becoming shy or hiding, etc.

    Haven't used the product as it came 2 weeks after I ordered it. But I wasn't thrilled with the customer service, wasn't really willing to assist with questions. Not going to do further business! From Michael: Unfortunately, COVID has slowed or at times lost my USPS ground shipments. I explained to the customer that all the instructions she needs may be found directly on the product page she purchased her medication from.

Description

Erythromycin is a common antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial ailments. Non-toxic to invertebrates.  Doxycycline Hyclate is a broad spectrum antibiotic derived from oxytetracycline; and unlike other tetracycline medications doxycycline hyclate remains effective in any pH environment.

Effective against: Both gram positive and gram negative bacterial ailments, such as Columnaris, Fin and Tail Rot, Fin & Tail Rot, Septicemia, Mouth Rot, Popeye and other diseased caused by Flavobacterium columnare, Haemophilus piscium, Aeromonas punctata, Aeromonas hydrophila, and Cytophaga aquatilis bacteria.

Treatment:  Begin with a 25% water change prior to each daily dose of 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons water.  Continue treatment for 10-14 days, but may be stopped after 5 days if no improvement is noticed.
