Red Blue Heckel Cross Discus
$67.00 – $190.00
The particularly striking colors of this fish are unique and can only be seen in the Red Blue Heckel. Its texture and bright colors can only remind you of the polishing and varnishing of a new car. The red color predominates in the body of this Blue discus and can vary from a medium brown to light brown passing through red, they always have nine dark bars in equal intensity, one bar through the eye and other more strongest in the base of the caudal.
In the forehead and the gill plates of this red-blue discus you can see red with blue stripes horizontally. It is interesting to see the anal and dorsal fins striped in blue and red, the ventral fins are a dark brown also with blue and red stripes. And the eye color varies between orange to red. In the Royal blues the forehead region and the abdomen is capable of being a dark red in between the blue striations. Nothing else to see it in the aquarium I wanted to have it in the tank of my house and see the beauty of these magnificent colors every day of my life.

Hi Michael, here are pictures of my new fish. The discus fish are starting to eat a little bit now, except for the Wild Brazilian discus. He seems to be lethargic and uninterested in eating. My other discus fish do not seem to like the frozen beef heart I bought from you. I am surprised because they love the frozen San Francisco Bay Brand I have been feeding them. Any suggestions? I am keeping the Cardinals in a separate tank until they grow bigger. Thanks, Tom H.
