Royal Blue Turquoise Throwback Discus, Slate Base

The glitz and glamor of Las Vegas fill my senses as I roll up to an old haunt – the La Concha Motel. My soul is burning, and it’s time to get ready for my night out on the town. Its conch-shaped lobby is unmistakable as is its distinctive sign. Contrasted against a jasper-lit shell is La Concha in a heavenly royal blue that is a beacon in a sea of neon.

And it’s that same jasper and ethereal blue combo I see when faced with the Royal Blue Turquoise Throwback Discus. I’m thrown back immediately to the La Concha. I notice the fins and face of the fish lining up perfectly with that curvaceous letter C in Concha. There’s the discus shining in my tank with that divine jasper-royal blue just like that sign in the evening desert sky.

This discus takes me back to those nights out on the town and my precious haunt. But don’t take it from me. Take it from the King himself: There're a thousand pretty fish waiting out there
