I tried to put up a review on your show driftwood but missed the 48 hour deadline by a few weeks so when I hit submit I got a blank screen. I was only planning on using two of the three pieces you sent but the selection you gave me was so interesting I changed the design of my tank to incorporate all three. The pieces had a movement and elegance that I was not expecting and I’m very excited about how things turned out. Thank you.
I’m hoping to get some plants and fish from you in October when the weather cools a bit. My UPS guy’s truck gets up to 130 degrees during the summer and I don’t think an insulated package would survive that.
I’ve incorporated some cave systems in the design for blue velvet shrimp even though the discus might eat them and I’ll get some cory cats and cardinal tetras from you after I’ve had the tank up and running for a couple months. I won’t get the discus until early next year probably. I want everything to be really stable before I do that.
I grew up not far from you in northern NJ and spent some wonderful times in NYC. I have a friend in Manhattan who makes it out here every couple years and I miss the east coast vibe. Southern Californians can be a bit self-involved. So happy to be supporting your business and dealing with a New Yorker and not some heartless mega-store like Amazon.
