Striated Alenquer Cross Discus, Brown Base

These striated alenquer crosses have light to dark brown bodies, sometimes reddish, and nine vertical bars. These fish have some beautiful turquoise streaks on their upper and lower fin areas, as well as a hint of beautiful yellow/gold on its body.
These discus are not as eye-popping as other available varieties, due to their subdued color scheme. However, for some collectors, therein lies the appeal. There is always something that rewards the careful viewer willing to look a little more carefully. Blues, reds, purples, even oranges will pop out beneath a darker base. These beauties are sure to give your freshwater aquarium an interesting final touch.
