Striated Cobalt Discus
$48.00 – $163.00
Vividly patterned, these disc-shaped beauties range exhibit a rich blue palette that shimmers in water and light. Reaching up to 10-inches, their pattern is eye-catching. These distinctive, varied striations feature both straight and thick markings beneath the many rippled and finer pattern lines. This creates a stunning, textured appearance that adds to an attractive sheen that glistens from head to trunk to tail. The tail fin itself is nearly translucent, and has a feathered quality which also contributes to the delicate loveliness of the striated cobalt discus.

Please see my review of the two German Red Turquoise Discus, Red Base Discus for more details of my experience of this purchase.
I would take any suggestions you have. From Michael: You clearly know what you're doing -- no live plants, minimal tank decorations. I would add more discus. The general formula is 1 fish per 10 gallons. Good luck!
Where should i post my review ? I need everyone to know how satisfied I am. All the fish were in great health when received! Very satisfied with my order ! Thank you. Only issue I've had is it looks like I received two orange discus and one was suppose to be a Fuji red and also my golden nugget pleco was a different color. Would definitely recommend you guys and I will be buying more schooling fish from you!
They all came in alive! I did not know to quarantine them so I hope they'll do okay! Only one of them looked dead for a while but after I put him in he eventually got up and started swimming.
All 16 came in healthy and swimming around! They even rushed to the front of the qt tank! I love them all!! Thank you so much!
Hi Michael, it's Tara M - I spoke to you earlier today. Here's a couple pics of the first three discus I purchased from you. They are doing really well - we love them!
They all seem to be doing well. Guessing the one just has two dots on his tail. Fish are absolutely gorgeous and so much savings compared to my local fish store.
Hello Michael, very sorry for being skeptical about your delivery and business service. Discus arrived safely about 7:45 PST, packed well and introduced into my 80 gallon all discus tank ranging from 3" to 5" mainly cobalt blue and yellow. After years of experience my water condition is close to perfect, I have the best heater possible and a very oversized filtering system. I'll turn 80 this year and both salt and fresh water tanks have always been my dream. Thank you again and I will continue to use your service, Ray. Also, thank you be always being very responsive to my emails. I don't own a cell phone but my wife might be able to send you a picture.
I was a little disappointed with the customer service at times but once I received my fish you guys have been very helpful. I am not sure if the fish were sick because of the shipping process or what happened but half of my fish look like they will recover. Thank you! From Michael: Blake, please get in touch with me regarding what you felt was disappointing about the service. I'm sorry you feel this way, and I will be sure to correct it.
Michael went above and...More
My Striated Cobalt Discus is the most beautiful shade of blue. He is bigger than what I paid for and I am very happy with him.
Michael went above and beyond making sure I was happy with my purchase. He answered questions promptly and gave me bigger Discus than what I paid for. The 11 discus that I have are beautiful and eating great.
The two Striated Cobalt Discus are doing fine, although they look like my two Blue Diamonds. But they are still juveniles and it will be interesting to see how they develop. I'm happy with them and my tank is now complete. They arrived Tuesday afternoon in great condition... I also ordered plants for another of my tanks and as of now, Thursday afternoon, I'm still waiting on them. Hopefully tomorrow the plants will arrive. They look great. You did pick a couple of nice ones. I was happy to see that when I opened the box. Basically the same size as their new tankmates, which is what I was hoping for. One is eating already and the other is taking his time adjusting but looks fine Here are a few pics of the two new Cobalts, and a couple of my Blue Diamonds, basically the same size....
