Once upon a time, there was a paintbrush named Rosy. Unlike other paintbrushes, Rosy could only paint in one color – red. No matter how hard she tried, she could only produce various shades of red.

Rosy was quite proud of her unique talent, and she believed that red was the most important color in the world. She would often lecture the other paintbrushes about the importance of using red in their art.

One day, a young artist came into the store and picked up Rosy. The artist was looking for a paintbrush that could paint in multiple colors, but Rosy insisted that red was the only color that mattered.

The artist reluctantly bought Rosy, thinking that she could at least use her for the parts of her project that required the color red.

But as the artist started to paint with Rosy, she began to realize that Rosy’s obsession with red was getting in the way of her art. No matter how much the artist tried to use Rosy for other colors, Rosy would always produce a shade of red.

The artist was frustrated, but Rosy remained oblivious. She continued to lecture the artist about the importance of red, even though the artist was clearly fed up with her one-dimensional approach to art.

One day, the artist had had enough. She decided to teach Rosy a lesson by dipping her in blue paint. Rosy was shocked as she emerged from the paint jar, her once-red bristles now a deep shade of blue.

But to the artist’s surprise, Rosy didn’t seem to mind. In fact, she was quite pleased with her new look. She declared that blue was a wonderful shade of red and continued to paint with her newfound color.

The artist was amused, and she decided to keep Rosy around as a reminder to never take art too seriously. From that day on, Rosy painted with both red and blue, creating unique and colorful works of art that were a delight to behold.
