Wild Cuipeua Giant Discus

I saw countless sunsets, just like everybody else. But, for each person, there’s always that one, the special one, that always springs to mind when you look out on a foggy Sunday morning, remembering the warmth of the sky that you now dearly miss.

It was my first time seeing the Atlantic Ocean. With my girlfriend’s hand in mine, we slowly descended into a hidden beach of the cliffs of Cabo da Roca. The sun was lowering its round, bright head, revealing a deep, powerful red on its edges, surrounded with the most vivid yellow I’ve ever seen. Such are the colors of the Wild Cuipeua Giant Discus, transforming the day into something else, something much more subtle and delicate. Gazing into them, I’m instantly back, with my bare feet in the warm sand, looking at the whole sky, changing its appearance into a symphony of yellow and red. As if the sky was waving goodbye to the sun, hoping to see it again the very next day, brighter than before.

Having a Wild Cuipeua Giant Discus is like having my most memorable sunset freely swimming in my tank, delightfully reminding me, as much as the days can get dark and grey, there will always be an infinite warmth in that sunset.
